CAA Saskatchewan Scholarship Program
CAA Saskatchewan invests in the future of graduating high school students through its scholarship program.
CAA is pleased to support Saskatchewan graduating high school students through the CAA Scholarship Program. For 19 years, CAA Saskatchewan has provided annual entrance scholarships to Saskatchewan’s three educational institutions including the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic. “We are proud to help these students continue their educational journey here in the province,” remarked Fred Titanich, President & CEO, CAA Saskatchewan. “On behalf of our Members, staff, and board of directors, best wishes and congratulations to all successful applicants.”
The scholarships at the University of Saskatchewan and at the University of Regina are $2,500 at each institution. Applicants must be either a CAA Saskatchewan Member or a child of a Member, and a Saskatchewan resident. The application deadline date for the U of S is March 1 and the U of R is March 15.
The CAA Saskatchewan scholarships at Saskatchewan Polytechnic are $3,750 in total and are available for application from July 15 to September 15 for CAA Saskatchewan Members and non-members. The scholarships support the Automotive Service Technician certificate program at the Saskatoon campus ($1,250) and at the Moose Jaw campus ($1,250), and the Auto Body Technician certificate program ($1,250) at the Regina campus.
How to Apply: Eligible students can apply online directly to the educational institutions who administer the application process and will contact the successful candidates. The applicants are evaluated on academic excellence, economic needs, and other factors, including participation in extra-curricular activities or community involvement.
Here’s a testimonial from one of last year’s scholarship recipients:
I am honoured to be the recipient of the CAA Saskatchewan Scholarship. I am attending the University of Regina, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I am currently managing a full course load of classes, which is often rather demanding. Alongside my busy, stressful schedule, I’m trying to figure out how to pay for my university education. The scholarship will help me to achieve my goal in pursuing a career in healthcare, where I will be able to serve the community. Thank you! - Vishall Agasthian
