CAA Saskatchewan Scholarship Program
CAA is proud to invest in the future of Saskatchewan graduating high school students through the CAA Scholarship Program. For 18 years, CAA Saskatchewan has provided annual entrance scholarships to Saskatchewan’s three educational institutions including the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
The scholarships at the University of Saskatchewan and at the University of Regina are $2,500 at each institution. Applicants must be either a CAA Saskatchewan Member or a child of a Member, and a Saskatchewan resident. The CAA Scholarship application deadline date for the U of S is March 1 and the deadline at the U of R is March 15, 2024.
The CAA Saskatchewan scholarships at Saskatchewan Polytechnic are $3,750 in total and are available for application from July 15 to September 15 to CAA Saskatchewan Members and non-members. The scholarships support the Automotive Service Technician certificate program at the Saskatoon campus ($1,250) and at the Moose Jaw campus ($1,250), and the Auto Body Technician certificate program ($1,250) at the Regina campus.
Eligible students can apply online directly to the educational institutions that administers the application process and contacts the successful candidates. The applicants are evaluated on academic excellence, economic needs, and other factors, including participation in extra-curricular activities or community involvement.
“Through the CAA Scholarship program, we are pleased to help students continue their educational journey here in the province,” remarked Fred Titanich, President & CEO, CAA Saskatchewan. “On behalf of our Members, staff, and board of directors, best wishes and congratulations to all successful applicants.”
Here’s a testimonial from one of last year’s scholarship recipients: I am attending the University of Saskatchewan to pursue a degree in Education, with the hopes of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist. This scholarship will help me pay tuition and will substantially help with relieving some of that stress. I am honoured and incredibly grateful to CAA Saskatchewan for helping me with my education costs and helping me reach my dream!
