The Access Communications Labour Day Show N Shine is back for its 14th year
Regina, SK – Access Communications Co-operative has once again partnered with the Collectors Car Club of Saskatchewan to bring car enthusiasts an event to remember, all in support of the Regina Food Bank. A fun event for all ages, the show consistently draws 500 exhibitors and over 5,000 attendees – making it the largest car show in Southern Saskatchewan.
“We are excited to bring back this Labour Day tradition in support of the Regina Food Bank and its ongoing fight to eliminate food insecurity,” says Jim Deane, Chief Executive Officer, Access Communications Co-operative. “Since 2006, we have raised over $200,000 for the Regina Food Bank by bringing car collector hobbyists and the community together for a great cause.”
CAA Saskatchewan presents the 14th Annual Labour Day Show N Shine for the fifth consecutive year. CAA Saskatchewan will have face painting, bike safety booklets, colouring sheets (for the kids), prize draws (for parents), and complimentary cool Nimbus water, served in reusable water bottles.
“CAA Saskatchewan is very pleased to return as presenting sponsor of the Access Communications Labour Day Show N Shine,” remarked Fred Titanich, President & CEO, CAA Saskatchewan. “We are excited to be back on-site with our CAA Family Fun Zone and special guest, Felipe Gomez, the 2021 Saskatchewanderer. We know that this past year has been challenging for everyone, especially for the families who rely on the Regina Food Bank. As a local business and long-time community advocate, we proudly support organizations like the Regina Food Bank, working alongside the Collectors Car Club and Access Communications.”
The event runs from 12-4 PM at the Access Communications Community Park, 2250 Park St, Regina. Admission is $5 per person or $10 per family, and children 12 and under are free. Donations of non-perishable food are also welcome.
Exhibitors wanting to showcase their ‘pride and joy’ can do so for a $10 registration fee. The show will conclude with an award presentation, including the coveted ‘People’s Choice Award.’
The 14th Annual Labour Day Show N Shine would not be possible without the over 90 volunteers who donate their time, talents and enthusiasm from the staff, members, friends and families of the Collectors Car Club of Saskatchewan, the Regina Food Bank, and Access Communications.
