We’re currently looking for a Junior Accounting Administrator who is detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced finance environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in accounting principles who is eager to build their skills while supporting day-to-day financial operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions

  • Reconcile vendor and supplier statements in a timely and accurate manner

  • Prepare and produce cheques as required

  • Balance general ledger accounts as assigned

  • Assist with bank-related tasks and apply knowledge of basic banking terminology

  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure files are properly documented and organized

  • Follow both written and oral instructions efficiently

  • Perform other administrative and accounting-related duties as required

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Has a minimum 2 years of accounting experience

  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations

  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field is an asset

  • A self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport across departments

  • A team player who maintains cooperative and harmonious working relationships

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

  • Familiarity with banking terminology and financial documentation
