Chris Lane

President & CEO, Economic Development Regina 

Chris Lane is the President & CEO of Economic Development Regina (EDR), the agency tasked with driving investment attraction, sector growth and leading a cooperative approach to marketing Regina around the world. Prior to leading EDR, Chris was CEO at Canadian Western Agribition, one of North America’s premier agricultural events and international marketplaces. Chris graduated from the University of Regina in 2002 with a degree in Journalism and spent 15 years working in local and national news across Canada. 

Today, Chris is an active leader and volunteer in Regina, serving as Chair of the CN Community Board and as a Director of CAA Saskatchewan. He has helped raise funds for important community organizations such as Hope’s Home and STARS. Chris was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta and proud to call Regina home.
